Update: These contests are now closed. Winners and finalists are listed below. We’ll be back again with more writing contests in the fall!

Fiction Award & Finalists
Poetry Award & Finalists
Creative Nonfiction Award & Finalists

Through April 1, 2017 (at 11:59 p.m.), Arcturus is accepting submissions for the three writing contests listed below. All winners and finalists will be announced the week of April 10, 2017. Click here to submit your work.

Note: While Arcturus was previously focused on writing with a strong sense of place, we’ve rebranded with a much wider editorial mission. Also, because multiple members of our editorial staff are currently affiliated with Columbia College Chicago, to avoid any potential conflicts of interest we are unable to accept submissions from current MFA candidates at CCC at this time.
